A founding member and former Director of Morton, Mark Morton is an industry veteran combining a unique knowledge and experience of real estate with the quiet strength and integrity that alludes to his farming years.
His lifetime career can be divided into two parts, rural and city, both about the land. From grazier/farmer in the Wagga Wagga district to land development and sub division in the Bateman's Bay - Mollymook region, Mark's knowledge of rural land and life is broad and comprehensive.
A move to Sydney brought Mark to the lower north shore where he has lived and worked for over twenty years. His Sydney real estate career beginning in Mosman and Neutral Bay, selling some of the area’s finest property.
Around this time, his son Ewan - who had been marketing property to international clients overseas - returned to Sydney and inspired to combine their talents and formidable knowledge to form their own real estate agency.
Bringing a wealth of knowledge and strong leadership to the team, Mark leads by example. Now working as a Trust Accounting Consultant to the business, Mark still manages to find the time to impart strong values and ethics to Morton’s staff. His guidance is valued by staff and clients, who refer to him for advice on careers, property and life.
A distinctive life and heritage, it is no wonder Mark has a strong sense of history. From North Sydney to Wagga Wagga, Mark's knowledge of land ownership, development and their owners is fascinating and intriguing. Yet it is Mark’s long and happy marriage with wife Robin that he deems his most notable success.
