So good

It’s so good to be back. So good. We did manage to work within the lockdown restrictions to provide our clients with a level of service they have come to expect from our team, but it’s so good to have the ability to again meet and support our clients in person. In my opinion real estate is about people as much as it is property, and that personal connection is vital regardless of whether the market is going gangbusters or not.

At Morton, we consider ourselves to be Property Specialists. So, what makes us specialists?

We know property. We understand property values. We know how to manage properties, lease properties, list and sell properties of all shapes and sizes across all suburbs of Sydney and all price points.

But that isn’t all. On top of that knowledge and expertise of the bricks and mortar Morton is equally focussed on people. We are specialists in developing professional relationships with our clients built on understanding, empathy, trust, and integrity.

Because as much as it’s vital to know the value of a property and to have the skills to market a property, it is those four qualities of empathy, understanding, trust and integrity that are absolutely crucial to delivering the right property outcomes for clients.

As I said in a post on LinkedIn earlier this week, real estate is emotional and sometimes tempers get frayed. Our goal is to navigate our clients to win-win outcomes for everyone.

Which is why it’s so good to be able to get face-to-face with our clients again. Our team are meeting many new clients in person for the first time having forged connections over Zoom during the lockdown.

There is much to discuss. The market is going gangbusters, so we need to talk about expectations, tactics, and negotiation strategies.

Our team works to ensure clients understand the process of navigating a successful sale. They ensure clients trust the process of back-and-forth negotiations and in doing so they minimise the potential for emotions to empower poor decisions.

That’s what we do, and it is so good to have the opportunity to do it again in person.
