David began at Morton in June 2015 originally as a Property Manager for the Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Haymarket and Hyde Park area. In 2016 David moved into a leasing and new business role in our Crows Nest office. Late 2016 David became a Business Development Manager and was responsible for growing the number of investment properties in a new development in Penrith, which facilitated the establishment of our Penrith office. In 2019 David has developed into the role of Property Consultant where he is now a sales executive servicing the Penrith local government area.


Originally from London, David has a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics (from the University of Sydney), and his Certificate 1 in Chinese Mandarin (from TAFE Ultimo). Previously working in Business Development and as a Sales Manager in the Real Estate Classifieds section for seven Courier community newspapers in Sydney, David became aware of Morton’s professionalism and growth potential.


David enjoys working in Real Estate for meeting and working with a broad range of interesting people, establishing and maintain long term relationships. David prides himself on being thorough and service driven to ensure he understands his clients’ needs to deliver the best result. He is a people person, being able to speak a few words in 12 languages, which helps build rapport with clients and uses WeChat, KakaoTalk and WhatsApp. Given his publishing background, he is detail orientated and uses very effective marketing strategies both in print and online.


The success David has achieved in his real estate career is evidenced in his industry awards. In 2015, David was a Finalist in the Australian Real Estate Results Awards in the category Performer of the Year – Property Management. In 2016 he was a Runner Up in the Real Estate Business Awards for the category Rising Star. In 2018 and again in 2020, David won the ARERA award for Business Development Manager of the Year.
