A great community is built on connection, and there’s no better example than the recent Penrith CBD Local Business Coffee Catch Up.
As part of Morton’s 10 Year Celebration in Penrith, we were proud to sponsor the Monthly Coffee Catch Up, bringing together local business owners, community leaders and professionals for a morning of conversation, networking and collaboration. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new members of the community and reflect on what makes Penrith such a great place to live, work and do business.
The event also served as a reminder of how much Penrith has grown over the past decade, and the many people, businesses and organisations that continue to contribute to its success.
For Morton, community involvement has been part of our Penrith story from the very beginning.
On 14 December 2026, Morton will officially celebrate 10 years since the lease commenced on our first Penrith office. Since opening our doors in 2016, we have been privileged to support thousands of local property owners, buyers, tenants and investors while building lasting relationships throughout the community.
As we approach this milestone, we’re particularly proud that several of our founding team members remain part of the Morton family today, including Ewan Morton, Nick Frankel, Deb Landes and David Lipman. Their dedication, alongside the support of our clients and community, has helped shape Morton’s journey in Penrith over the past decade.
Over the years, our commitment has extended beyond property. We’ve proudly supported a wide range of local initiatives, community events, business networking opportunities and charitable causes that bring people together and help strengthen our region.
This year alone, Morton is proud to be involved in a variety of local events, including:

- Thornton Spring Markets
- Pink Up Penrith, where Morton will provide and sponsor the event drinks cart to help support fundraising efforts for the Cancer Council
As part of our 10-year celebrations, you’ll also start to see Morton’s commemorative city flags displayed throughout Penrith, recognising a decade of supporting the local community and celebrating the relationships we’ve built along the way.
While we’re taking time to reflect on the past 10 years, we’re equally excited about what’s ahead. There are more community events, celebrations and initiatives to come as we continue marking this important milestone throughout the remainder of the year.
