This year marks an exciting milestone for our Morton Penrith team – 10 years of serving and supporting the local community. Over the past decade, the office has built more than just a strong presence in the property market; it has become a trusted part of the Penrith community, driven by a genuine commitment to giving back.
At the heart of Morton Penrith’s community focus is a simple philosophy: strong relationships create stronger neighbourhoods. This is reflected in the team’s consistent grassroots initiatives that bring people together and provide meaningful support where it’s needed most.
One of the most recognisable initiatives is the team’s monthly community BBQ, a relaxed and welcoming event that invites locals to connect, share a meal, and engage with one another. Importantly, any leftover food is donated to a local community kitchen, ensuring the impact extends beyond the event itself and supports those doing it tough.
Communication and connection also play a key role. The Penrith team produces a monthly ‘Word on the Street’ newsletter, keeping residents informed about local news, events, and updates that matter. It’s a simple but effective way of keeping the community engaged and strengthening local ties.
On a more individual level, community contribution is championed by Sales Director David Lipman, whose initiatives are focused on giving back directly to the clients and community he works with every day. Each year, David contributes a $1,000 donation to the Community Kitchen, helping to provide essential resources to those in need and supporting the incredible work being done on the ground.
David also hosts the office’s annual VIP Party; an initiative designed as a way of giving back to his buyers and sellers while bringing the community together. The event features a charity auction, with proceeds directed to local causes, combining client appreciation with meaningful impact and reinforcing Morton’s commitment to making a difference beyond real estate.
The Penrith team is also proud to support broader local events, including the Thornton Estate Christmas Market, helping to bring festive energy to the area and supporting local businesses and community groups.
As Morton Penrith celebrates its 10-year milestone, it’s clear that its success isn’t measured solely by property results, but by the relationships built, the community initiatives supported, and the lasting local impact created.
Looking ahead, the team remains committed to continuing this legacy, supporting Penrith, connecting people, and giving back in meaningful ways for many years to come.
